    Jun 29,  · Cornell has a lot going for it though that Mingus at Antibes doesn't. Pianist Jaki Byard is the biggest difference. "Awesome" is an appropriate word for his performance. Eric Dolphy actually plays the flute during this concert. And don't forget the ridiculously amazing, almost 30 minute, version of "Fables of Faubus". It's so loose and free.
